(Published in the McAlester News-Capital on January 19th, 2017.) RESOLUTION #17-145 TO RE- ADVERTISE for Six Month Bids The Board of County Commissioners met in regular session on January 17, 2017. WHEREAS, Pittsburg County wishes to re-advertise for the following: WILDLAND COVERALLS A bid package containing an “Invitation to Bid” are available at the Pittsburg County Clerk’s Office, Pittsburg County Courthouse, 115 E. Carl Albert Parkway, McAlester, Ok. 74501, or online at pittsburgcounties.org. All bids must state price of the aforesaid materials and said materials must be delivered in quantities orders when and as needed by the Board of County Commissioners, within six month period, beginning January 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2017. Each competitive bid submitted to the county must be accompanied with an affidavit for filing with the competitive bid form, as required by 61 O.S. § 138. No bid will be considered unless submitted on this form with affidavit completed and notarized. Place your bids in an envelope and mark it "Six Month Bids." Sealed bids will be received and filed with the Pittsburg County Clerk until Friday, January 27, 2017. Bids received after 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 will remain unopened. Sealed bids will be opened on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the conference room of the Board of County Commissioners, Pittsburg County Courthouse, 115 E. Carl Albert Parkway, McAlester, OK. 74501. Contract will be awarded to the lowest or best bidder. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and re-advertise.
