CALLING OF GOD

The Calling of God Part 3 of 3 It is an assumed thought, that our great God, the creator of heaven and earth, can use such lowly individuals, as we. It is a privilege indeed, to be called by God Himself, to represent Him here on earth. First, we found we are called to be saints. Then we found we were called to be holy. In Acts 1:8, "But ye shall receive power, after that the holy ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me…unto the uttermost part of the earth." Can you imagine God choosing us to represent Him on earth? It is true, we cannot do it of ourselves, but notice they said, "…after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…" God did not expect us to represent Him without help. Paul described it in 2 Corinthians 5:20,"Now then we are ambassadors for Christ…" An ambassador, is one who represents the one who sent him. God is sending us into the world, to represent Him. Who He is, what He is. No greater calling could one receive. Also, no greater responsibility could one be given. Many company CEO’s receive millions of dollars to represent them. Yet we have a greater and a more enjoyable responsibility, than they all. Click on our church web site www.mcalestercog7d.com and check the information you find there.
