The Watchman Part 3 of 4
We have been presenting scriptures that show God considers His followers "watchman" to the unsaved. We are to tell them, warn them, Jesus is coming to judge the world. If we do that, we can "save a soul from death (James 5:20)."
Paul told Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:1-7, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come, For men shall be lovers of their own selves, …despisers of those that are good…lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Paul shares his burden in Acts 20:31, "Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears." Notice how burdened Paul was to let the people know? The message was urgent, the warning was so important.
This is what is happening on our watch, and in our day we can see prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes. Man is blind to the fact what is happening and we need to warn them, to come out, be separate, live for the Lord and be ready for Jesus, when He comes.
