(Published in the McAlester News-Capital June 8th, 2017.) RESOLUTION #17-250 The Board of County Commissioners, Pittsburg County, met in regular session on Monday, June 5, 2017. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners wishes to advertise for the following for Shady Grove Volunteer Fire Department: Six (6) or more Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA’s) A bid package containing an “Invitation to Bid” are available at the Pittsburg County Clerk’s Office, Pittsburg County Courthouse, 115 E. Carl Albert Parkway, Room 103, McAlester, OK 74501 or online at pittsburg.okcounties.org. THEREFORE, each competitive bid submitted to the County must be accompanied by an Affidavit for filing with the Competitive Bid Form, as required by 61 O.S. § 138. Sealed bids will be received by the Pittsburg County Clerk until 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2017. Bids received after 5 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017, will not be opened. Bids will be opened on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Board of County Commissioners Conference Room, Pittsburg County Courthouse, 115 E. Carl Albert Parkway, McAlester, Oklahoma. Contract will be awarded to the lowest or best bidder. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and re-advertise.
