The Two Judgments Part 4 of 5
We have been discussing the two judgments, when they occur and what happens prior to the second judgment. Before the second judgment occurs, there is a period of time that takes place. It seems to refer to the millennial reign, or the 1,000 year reign with Christ.
In our last article we quoted Zechariah 12:9-11, it says when Israel sees Christ whom they have pierced, Israel will be converted and accept Christ as the Messiah. This conversion is not to immortality, but like today, when one is converted to Christ. Look at Matthew 19: 27-28. In verse 27, Peter wants to know what reward they will receive, then in verse 28, Christ said, “…Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” So this shows that Israel will be a natural people during the millennial reign. Revelation 5:10 also bears this out, “And hast made us unto our God king and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” A king is a ruler and a priest is a teacher. So there will be someone to rule over and teach during the millennial reign.
