THE TWO JUDGMENTS ARTICLE 5 OF 5

The Two Judgments Article 5 of 5 We have been discussing the two judgments. One occurs when Christ comes back, (see 2 Timothy 4:1). Then there is a period of time when Christ and the saints will reign over a natural people (see Matthew 19:27-28). Evidence of a natural people is found in Isaiah 65:17-25, but notice especially verse 20, "There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old: but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed." First of all this speaks about dying. Then it says, no more thence an infant of days. Indicating no premature deaths. Then it speaks of the sinner. So there will be people in the millennium that we will help Christ to rule over and teach during that time. So during that 1,000 years (millennial reign), they will need to accept Christ the same as you and I do today. When they do, their names are written in the book of life. So there will be two judgment days. One when Christ comes (2 Timothy 4:1) and one at the end of the millennial reign (Revelation 20:11-15).
