Case No. CV-17-82 NOTICE OF SEIZURE AND INTENDED FORFEITURE THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: Anyone claiming an interest in the following-described currency and vehicle. You are hereby notified that the State of Oklahoma has seized and intends to forfeit the following-described currency and vehicle: TWO THOUSAND SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS ($2,075.00) IN U.S. CURRENCY; 2006 CHEVY RAM TRUCK, TX TAG FLT3478, VIN 1D7HA18 266S712835. Said currency and vehicle were on or about the 23rd day of January, 2017, used in Pittsburg County during a violation of the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Act (âActâ), 63 O.S. §2-101 et seq, when Joseph Harrison and Amanda Hare unlawfully concealed, possessed, and transported methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, marijuana, a schedule I controlled substance, suboxone, a Schedule III controlled substance, paraphernalia, and the above-captioned currency constituting drug proceeds. Said currency was in close proximity to controlled dangerous substances and there was no other likely source for said currency but for a violation of the Act. Further, said currency and vehicle were obtained and intended to be used to facilitate a violation of the Act. As a result, said currency and vehicle are forfeitable pursuant to 63 O.S. §§2-503(A)(3), (4), (6), (7), (B), and 2-503.1. The owner, claimant or other party in interest may file a verified answer and claim to said currency and cards within forty-five (45) days after the mailing, publication, or delivery of this Notice, after which time the State of Oklahoma will move this Court for an Order of Forfeiture of said currency and vehicle in compliance with 63 O.S. §§2-503 and 2-506.
