(Published in the McAlester News-Capital April 5th, 2017.) IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF PITTSBURG COUNTY STATE OF OKLAHOMA IN THE MATTER OF THE APPROVAL OF A MINERAL DEED BY A RESTRICTED INDIAN HEIR OF MILLIE POPE, FB CHOCTAW, ROLL NO. M-416, deceased. Case No. FB-2017-1 ALIAS NOTICE OF HEARING PETITION AND APPROVAL OF MINERAL DEED On 30 day of March, 2017, George Effinger, Jr., a restricted Indian of not less than one-half (1/2) blood of the Five Civilized Tribes, filed his verified Petition herein, praying for the approval of an executed Mineral Deed conveying his interests in and to all of the oil, gas, coal, water, and other minerals in and under and that may be produced from the following described lands: Lot 3, the East 20.74 acres of Lot 4, SW/4 NE/4, and S/2 NW/4 of Section 2, Township 7 North, Range 18 East, Pittsburg County, State of Oklahoma. to his children: Richard Dale Effinger, Jeremiah George Effinger, Gregory Wayne Effinger, and Michael Timothy Effinger in equal shares. The consideration for this deed will be for love and affection as it is a close family transaction. Said Petitioner further prays that the Mineral Deed be approved without competitive bidding and it appears to the Court that said Petition is in order and should be set for hearing without competitive bidding. Said Petition is set for hearing on the 17th day of May, 2017, at 2:30 P.M. at the Pittsburg County Courthouse in McAlester, Oklahoma, and the same being one of the days provided for the confirmation of such conveyances, at which time said conveyance will be presented to the Judge of said Court for approval and at which time and place any person may appear and show cause, if any they have, why said Mineral Deed should not be approved without competitive bidding. /S/ MIKE HOGAN JUDGE OF THE DISTRICT COURT Peary L.
