(Published in the McAlester News-Capital March 23rd, 2017.) RESOLUTION 17-192 TO ADVERTISE The Board of County Commissioners met in regular session on Monday March 20, 2017. WHEREAS, Pittsburg County wishes to advertise for the following: One or More 2 ton or smaller crew cab truck(s) A bid package containing an âInvitation to Bidâ are available at the Pittsburg County Clerkâs Office, Pittsburg County Courthouse, 115 E. Carl Albert Parkway, McAlester, Ok. 74501 or online at pittsburg.okcounties.org THEREFORE, each competitive bid submitted to the County must be accompanied by an Affidavit for filing with the Competitive Bid Form, as required by 61 O.S. § 138. Sealed bids will be received by the Pittsburg County Clerk by 5:00 P.M., Friday, March 31, 2017. Bids received after 5 P.M. Friday, March 31, 2017, will not be opened. Bids will be opened on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m in the Board of County Commissioners Conference Room, Pittsburg County Courthouse, 115 E. Carl Albert Parkway, McAlester, OK. 74501. Contract will be awarded to the lowest or best bidder. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and re-advertise.
