IN THE DISTRICT COURT IN AND FOR PITTSBURG COUNTY STATE OF OKLAHOMA IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATES OF MARLIN HOYLE OGDEN AND MARJORIE JUNE OGDEN, DECEASED CASE NO: PB-2015-136 ORDER AND NOTICE FOR HEARING PETITION FOR SALE OF REAL ESTATE It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court from the verified Petition of Albine Cortez, Administrator of the Estates of Marlin Hoyle Ogden and Marjorie June Ogden, both Deceased, on file herein that it is in the best interests of the Estates to sell the real property belonging to said estates, and described more fully in said petition, for the following reasons: 1. That the real property has been abandoned since prior to Marjorie June Ogdenâs death in 2002 and the Administrator is concerned that the value of the real estate and improvements has and continues to, decrease. 2. That it is necessary to sell the real estate, in order to pay the creditors and expenses of administration. Therefore, IT IS ORDERED by the Court, that all persons interested in the Estates of Marlin Hoyle Ogden and Marjorie June Ogden, both Deceased, appear before the District Court of Pittsburg County, State of Oklahoma, in the courtroom thereof, in the City of McAlester, on April 5, 2017 at the hour of 2:30 p.m., then and there to show cause, if any they have, why an Order as prayed for in said Petition, should not be granted to the said Administrator to sell said real property of said deceased, at either public or private sale, and that she be authorized to hire a realtor, for the reasons and purposes mentioned in said Petition, as she shall judge to be for the best interest of said estate and all parties interested therein. IT IS THE FURTHER ORDER of the Court that copies of this Order be mailed to all heirs, legatees, devisees, or guardians thereof, with postage thereon fully prepaid, at their last known addresses; and that a copy of this order to show cause be published once in some newspaper published in this county, the first publication of which notice shall not be less than ten (10) days before the time fixed for said hearing.
