Two In The Field Part 6 of 6
This will be the last article on the "Two In The Field." There are two kinds of workers. One is sowing the wrong kind of seed (Word, Matthew 13:36-43). The other sowing the good seed (word), which is the true worker.
In 2 Timothy 4:2-3, we are told, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season: reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears."
The above verse tells the minister to "preach the word," no matter what people may think. A minister will be held accountable for what he proclaims, whether it is the truth or false.
Notice what Ezekiel 3:18 says, "When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand." As workers in the field, we have a great responsibility to the people and to God.
The word tells us, "we are saved by grace," but at the judgment day, "obedience" will determine if we enter the kingdom (Isaiah 8:20, John 12:48).
